Back to running bad.  No other way to describe it.

It’s not that I am running bad everywhere.  It just seems that all my heads-up sessions at the 5 card draw cash tables are killing me.  There is generally more variance when playing HU, and I can testify to that from what I have been getting lately.  Strangely enough though, I am still winning when I am playing with 3 or more players at the table.

I did play 2 HU 5 card draw SNGs and won them both.  But really that was the only high point of the day.

I also played the Sunday Million today.  Without looking at it, I want to say I finished around 2,000th place out of 6k+ people.  That was a big waste of time!  I got zero cards.  But I was one coinflip away from having a good shot at cashing and hopefully getting deep.  Oh well.

So at one point today I was down about $800, and was pretty upset.  So I decided to buy some milestone bonuses from the PokerStars store to help ease the pain.  Since I just reached Supernova status again for the year, a nice 1k bonus was available.  I bought that and three $100 bonuses.  So +$1,300 there.

As the day progressed, I was making a good run at getting back to even on the day until I got stuck heads-up once again.  Ha!  Within 10 minutes I was cleaned out.  Thanks to my opponent hitting every card in the deck.

It was not pretty.  Shoot, August in general has not been pretty outside of a couple days.
