Poker is a love-hate relationship. I just lost over $700 playing 5 card draw. Yes, I made a couple of bad plays here and there. But 95% of the time I put money in the pot, there was nothing I could do. The cards just weren’t cooperating. When I was ahead, I got drawn out on. When I had a huge hand, someone had a bigger hand….and so on.
I really hate playing when it seems nothing at all goes right. So I am done for the next few hours, until I can get my head straight again.
I am still up $300 for the month of October. Honestly though, I don’t know how the way I have been running the past week.
I am looking forward to when the tables are turned and everything goes right. Those are the most fun days playing poker. You feel invincible and the bankroll grows at a fast pace.

Are you being honest to yourself when you say you put in your money real good 95 percent of the times. I have hard believing that after seeing your session 5 minutes ago vs Joao M. a very good mtt player and elbrus a drunk kiev player that cashed in wcoop his first and last time. It would be easier to call such sessions ’tiltsessions’ in my mind.

I did not say that I put my money in good 95% of the time. I said 95% of the time there was nothing I could have done. Like open raising KK in the SB when the BB has something like AA. Now, obviously I would be behind right there, but I am not going to fold KK, so a instance like that, there is nothing I could do about it. Thanks for stopping by and saying your 2 cents though. Oh, I won just over half a buyin in that session you were talking about, but I was down nearly half a buyin at one time (probably when you commented). Poor timing I guess.
