I just dropped $620.82 tonight.  Ugh….It’s funny how things are going though.

I can not win right now at limit 5 card draw.  I am getting outdrawn left and right.  At one point tonight at the 10/20 table I had five trips dealt to me in about 30 minutes, and only one was good after the draw.  I had two pairs outdrawn left and right, oh and not to mention the number of completed straights or flushes I saw for my opponents tonight.

EDIT:  I almost forgot where three of my stand pats were outdrawn tonight as well, one by a 3 card draw.

I also got involved in a marathon HU session against someone who “said” he never played before.  BS.  I really think it was someone else that I have played before, whom I think to be a good aggressive HU player, and was playing under a different name.  If it is, that is fine; but I would never do that to anyone and I don’t think it is right.  If it was someone’s first time, then props to that player for fooling me.  It took me a while to adjust to that game, as I was down nearly $900 in that HU session alone, to eventually creep back up to -$201 when my opponent decided to sit out.  I could say I ran bad, which I think I did……but I also think I was outplayed alot as well in this HU session.

So I since my limit game sucks right now, I played some PL draw, and won there.  Played some NL 5 cd HU sngs, won there too.  BTW: I might have to play some more PL draw…..everytime I play, I do well.  I might have to make a new spreadsheet for that game to start tracking a win rate there, so I can get an idea of what is capable in PL.

If it wasn’t for those other games, I would have dropped well over 1k tonight.

Just one of those nights…..nay, just one of those months.

So far, the month of August is shaping up to be my worst month in limit 5 card draw in nearly a year and a half.  It is killing me.  Especially because I am chasing this goal to 60k.
