As I work to become the poker player I aspire to be, I find it best to set goals for myself to keep focused on the task at hand. However big or small the goal, however long it takes me….if I don’t at least try, then I will be left thinking of what could have been.
Below is a list of some goals I have compiled over the past and where I stand with each goal. Also listed will be what I am currently working on reaching.

Goals of the past
Turn $100 into $10K

Synopsis: My first major goal, this took much longer than expected but I never really did set a deadline. I was well on my way in a span of about 6 months and basically lost all I had built up within a few sessions. I learned alot through this process and I think I would tackle it differently if I were to go at it today.

Synopsis: When I completed this goal, so too did it complete my $100-$10k goal. It was when I won an 12 man WSOP satellite tournament.

Synopsis: I thought for sure I would have completed some other goals before tackling this one. My trip to the ’10 PokerStars Carribean Adventure was my first major live tournament. I ended up finishing in about 650th out of around 1500 entrants.
